You can remove unwanted surveys from a hub. Note that if you remove a survey from a hub, any reports or dashboards using data from that survey will cease to function.
To remove a survey:
Go to the Surveys Page and click the Action icon
for the survey you wish to remove.
-
Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
A warning dialog is displayed showing the details of the survey you are about to remove.
Figure 1 - The remove survey warning dialog Click Remove survey to remove the survey from the hub, or Cancel to stop the operation.
The survey will not be deleted from Survey Designer, it will just be removed from this particular hub.
Note that removed surveys will remain in the system for 90 days and can be restored during this period (Restoring a Data Set).
Note: Hub Cleanup should be performed periodically to permanently remove deleted hubs, surveys and related objects from SmartHub. When a survey is removed from the user interface (see above), it will initially be “soft-deleted” (marked for deletion), and within 90 days can be restored if required. The database will not be removed until the hub cleanup task runs after a specified number of days have passed. Setting up this Cleanup routine is a task for the system administrator - refer to the Forsta Server manual for further details.
