To setup an aggregated alert, follow these steps:
In SmartHub, click the Automations tab icon in the sidebar.
Click the down arrow next to the + New Automation button
Click the “Create workflow” text.
Name your workflow
Choose “Aggregated alert” from the workflow template drop-down.
Select the survey or custom data source that contains the variables you want to use for your aggregated alert.
Select the target table for the source.
Click the Create button.
Studio will then open with the aggregated alert workflow, containing the following:
1 Event – This is the trigger that starts the workflow - aggregated alerts only support using scheduling as a trigger.
2 Condition – This defines what causes the aggregated alert to run, resulting in the user being notified via email or an in-app notification
3 Tasks – This is where you can customize who the notification is sent to and its content.
Click each of the links above to continue creating the aggregated alert.
Publishing an Aggregated Alert
When you are satisfied with the Event, Condition and Task you have created, click the Publish button at the top right of the page to publish your aggregated alert.
This will change its status from “Draft” to “Live” in the Workflows tab.
