You can set survey specific rules. These can either function as an override of the global rule, or come in addition to the global rule. When a survey rule is set as an override of the global rule, the contact frequency check for the survey will be performed for invitations within that survey only, and will ignore any other surveys linked to the contact db. If the survey/group rules are set to be used together with the global rule ("Apply Global & Group/Survey Rules"), the contact frequency rules will be checked for the survey rule, in addition to checking for the global rule for all surveys in the contact database.
Switching between the two modes (either having the group/survey rules as an override of the global rule, or as additional group/survey specific rules in addition to the global rule) is done using the buttons at the top of the page.

To set rules on individual surveys:
In the hub, click the Contacts icon
and go to the contact database for which you wish to add a survey with a specific contact frequency rule.
Select View and manage to open the Manage Contact database page.
Click the Manage Frequency button.
Click the + Add Surveys button.
A list of surveys that are in the contact database, that do not already have a survey rule and have not been addded to any groups, is displayed.
Select a survey from the list.
Figure 4 - The Add surveys… overlayType the required number of "rest days".
This must be a positive number or zero, and specifies the minimum number of days that must elapse between emails. For example, if you send emails to your contacts on a Monday and the "rest days" specified in the rule is 3, then the earliest you can send the next email to those contacts will be the Friday of that week.
Click Add Selected.
The rule is saved against that contact database in the Survey Specific part of the list, and details which survey from the contact database it applies to. You can edit the rest days (click the Pencil icon
) or delete the rule (click the Delete icon
and confirm) at any time.
