To create a new template, click the + Create a New Template button from the template list. This takes you to the email template editor:
Email Template Editor
Template Name: The identifying name that will show up in the template list.
From email: The email address that will show in the “from” field in the users inbox. You can enter usernames in this field, and you can also choose the domain from the list of domains specified for your company under “Fixed Sender Domain”. To add or modify the domains listed in this dropdown, please reach out to support at support@forsta.com.
From name: The name that will show in the “from” field in users inbox.
Reply to email: The email address that will automatically populate when the user responds to the email.
Subject: The subject of the email.
HTML Body: The body of the email. By default, it will present a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) interface when the field is highlighted. However if you know HTML, you can toggle the Show HTML Source button and edit the HTML directly.

Dynamic Data Fields
In addition to controlling the HTML, you have the option to integrate dynamic data fields into your template.
To do this, click one of the tags located in the dynamic data fields section:
Upon clicking, code will appear where your cursor is in the subject or body field. This code will be replaced by the corresponding value of the end user when the email is sent.
For example, clicking the 'First Name' field will insert "{{Recipient__FirstName}"} into the text, which will be replaced with the recipient's actual first name when the email is sent.
Previewing the Template
To preview the template, click the Preview button in the top right corner of the template editor. This will show you how the email will look to the end user.
Final Steps
Once you have finished designing your email template, click the Create button.
The template will then appear in the in the template list.
Editing and Deleting an Existing Email Template
Note: You cannot edit or delete the default template. However, you can click the duplicate icon to duplicate it if you want to build from the default template.
Editing an Existing Email Template
To edit an existing email template, follow these steps:
Click the edit icon
next to the template you want to edit.
Click the Select button.
Deleting an Existing Email Template
To delete an existing email template, follow these steps:
Click the delete icon
next to the template you want to delete. You will be prompted to confirm before deletion.
