Creating a New Hierarchy
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Add Hierarchy button to reveal two actions:
1 Create a New Hierarchy
Start a new hierarchy from scratch by following these steps:
Input the name for the hierarchy you are creating.
Use the drop-down to change the PK (Primary Key) width. THis defines the character limit or bit width for the unique identifier of each node in the hierarchy. This typically defines the space allocated for the hierarchy's primary key.
The company field is automatically populated with the associated company.
Use the drop-down to select a specific hub for the hierarchy, if applicable.
Use the drop-down to select the End User List who you want to have access to or be associated with the hierarchy.
Click the Create Hierarchy Button to create the hierarchy.
2 Use an Existing Hierarchy
Leverage an already-existing hierarchy as a template for a new one by following these steps:
Use the drop-down menu to select a hierarchy from the available list.
After selecting the desired hierarchy, click the Add button to attach the selected hierarchy to the hub.
